Heaven’s Daily Bread with Bolatito Praise

TOPIC: SOLOMON

TEXT: 1 Kings 8:28
Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O LORD my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer, which thy servant prayeth before thee to day

Memory Verse : Psalms 103:10
He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

FOCUS
Today, we are looking at another person that gave thanks and his name is Solomon. Solomon was the son of David, his father wanted to build a house for God but God told him not to bother because his hands were full of blood. Solomon came as a child of rest, promise and consolation and he was empowered to build a house for God.

After, building the house, he rendered thanksgiving unto God; you can see the dimension of his thanksgiving from our opening scripture. Until we see what we do for God as a privilege, we will never do more. Those who feel that God is after the little they can do, forgot the fact that, the heavens of the heavens belongs to Him.

God answers prayer, he answered the supplication of David by allowing Solomon to build a house for Him. And when the house was built, Solomon never took it for granted. I don’t want you to take the blessings of God for granted. He has done us well, done so many things for us, fulfilled His promises in our lives, He has made his ways and act unto us, we have enjoyed the former and the latter rain. I want us to appreciate Him because truly, He is good unto us.

LESSON
Zechariah 9:17
For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids.

God is great, He is good and his mercy endures forever, He has not dealt with us according to the transgressions of our soul. God has been so faithful unto us, even when we don’t know what to ask, His mercy has been there for us.

Our memory verse says; bless the Lord oh my soul and forget not his benefit. He pardon all our iniquity, forgiveth all our sins, He didn’t deal with us according to our transgression. If God wants to relate to us base on our sin, He will not hear our prayer.

God has been good, I am grateful for everything I have and am thankful for every breathe that I take. I want you to show your gratitude to God, thank Him for all you have enjoyed and for the ones we will still enjoy. God, it’s been you all day long, you have been our reason; thank you Father. Only God will have done this no other person, we give Him all the praise in Jesus Name (Amen)

I thank thee o Lord for your goodness in my life and for all that you did for me this year.

PRAYER FOCUS
Father deliver me from ignorance that hinders Thanksgiving.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Thanksgiving is an ointment that brings sweet fragrance to God and a sweet harvest to you.
