TOPIC : GRATITUDE GRANTS YOU ACCESS TO DIVINE SECRETS

TEXT : Hebrews 4:13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

FOCUS

Today we are looking at another thing thanksgiving does and it is, thanksgiving reveals divine secrets. Are there things you want to know about yourself or people? When you are praising God, you are establishing the will of God on earth. Meaning that God’s will be communicated to you through the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit.

There are things you begin to know because God will reveal them to you as you are thanking God. That is why thanksgivers never run out of secrets. You remember David; the secret of God is shown to those that fear Him. And one of the things that shows you fear God is when you are a perpetual thanksgiver. David had the secret of thanksgiving; he said ” I would rather be a door keeper in the house of my God then for me to go to a five star hotel to have dinner. What a mighty insight David had to the secret of God.

The secret of God are with those that thank Him. Thanksgiving is rooted in the love of God. The more we thank Him, the more secrets are revealed to us. When we don’t thank God, we are alienated but the more we thank and celebrate Him, the more He shows us His glory and power. He makes sure the things that are hidden are exposed, He reveals them to us step by step. God will say, you have been thanking me, let me show you the things that are past, the things that are to come , the things you need to know about yourself, your family, children and that is why I say, thanksgivers are custodians of divine secrets.

LESSON

Colossians 1:3 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you

When you are giving thanks to God, you are praying. So, thanksgiving is a form of prayer. It is not until you bind and loose that you say you are praying. God is interested that when you begin to thank God, it’s a prayer. You need to know where your inheritance is by thanking God then God begins to reveal secrets of your inheritance to you; where they are and what you need to do to get there. Secrets are not found on the surface. Alot of people know they have inheritance in Christ but they don’t know how to go about it. These inheritance are embedded in thanksgiving. The more you are thanking God, the more He unveils His secrets to you. That is why we need to understand that thanksgiving is a powerful weapon. We need to have a secret on how to unlock our inheritance and know that these things are not found by the road side. We must know that God has blessed us and because of this, there are things that we must access and they are embedded in the secrets of God.

PRAYER FOCUS: Father, help me to be sensitive to you at all times in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.
