TOPIC: GRATITUDE MAGNIFIES
TEXT: John 12:32 “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. “
Memory Verse : Psalms 69:30 “I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.”
FOCUS
Today we are looking at another thing thanksgiving does, thanksgiving magnifies. Whatever you thank God for surely increases in size, it increases in beauty, in shape,etc.
Our opening scripture means, if He can be magnified, He will consciously draw men to Himself. The more you magnify the Lord, the more He draws people to Himself. When you magnify God, He draws things to you. He draws Blessings to you, He makes sure favour does not elude you, He will draw people so much to you just because you have magnified Him. If you can magnify God today, then He will be attracted by everything you do.
When we magnify God, He will draw children, He will draw blessing, material things, spiritual blessings even emotions will be stabilized all at the Name of God. When we praise Him with a song and magnify Him with Thanksgiving, He has no option but to bless us. May God bless us today, as we magnify Him, may He draw blessings that is due unto us.
LESSON
Luke 1:46 “And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord”
There was a woman in the Bible that understood the power of thanksgiving and her name is Mary. Mary began to celebrate and magnify God in a way that even till today, the whole world still celebrates her because she magnified the Lord.
When you magnify the Lord with your soul, He has no option than to make sure you become a celebrity. When you lift God, God has no option than to lift you. Don’t forget that there’s a simple mathematics. When you keep lifting up an object in your imagination, that object becomes bigger in size. When you magnify something, you are adding value to that thing.
I have no doubt that the more we magnify God, the more we add value to God and the more God makes us to be valuable. Those who will not value, He won’t make them valuable. They will be without price, without worth. If you don’t want to be worthless in life then magnify God.
When you draw God to yourself, God makes sure there’s nothing that you lack. Till today, Mary is still been celebrated not because she was a virgin but because she magnified the Lord.
Magnify God today and see how He will draw men to you. Stay Blessed!
