TOPIC: UNBELIEF
TEXT : Hebrews 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
Memory Verse : Hebrews 4:6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief
FOCUS
This morning we are looking at another vision killer and it is unbelief. What is unbelief? Unbelief is not the opposite of faith, it Is when you choose not to believe something. There are so many people that have great visions and same people will tell themselves, God cannot use me, I am not good enough. They are unbelieving believers. It is not only unbelievers that can exercise unbelief even in the christiandom, there are unbelieving believers.
God is in the business of raising people and He specializes in using those things that men have condemned to showcase His glory. Unbelief is a spirit that hinders people and you have to consciously reject it, if not it won’t leave you alone. So many people have lost their vision to unbelief; God can’t use me, I am not worthy, I am not fit, I can’t be the best. Each time you exercise unbelief, you have told God that He is a liar.
God sees unbelief as an evil heart because you are underestimating the power of God, you are telling God, He is not good enough to choose you. But when you exercise faith, God is glorified. God bless you, make sure you don’t allow unbelief stop you from fulfilling your vision.

Romans 11:20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear
Unbelief is like a plague, no matter how great and precious the promise is, something will tell you not just to believe. Unbelief is something that affects people generally over the world. When God speaks to you or when you see a vision or dream, you can choose to believe or not to believe. When someone talks to you physically, you can choose to believe or not. Many atimes, we think we believe but the things we do, shows we don’t actually believe. When you see someone who believes in a vision, the person will give their best to ensure the vision comes to pass. When you see people who don’t believe in a vision, they are also there struggling to take the word of God the way it is.
You have to be intentional about your belief in God. If you are not intentional about your belief system, it will ruin your vision. You must tell yourself every morning, I believe in God irrespective of what am going through. Your belief is your life wire. Just like when there’s electricity and you choose not to put it on its because you choose not to believe. You have to train yourself to believe.
There are people who train themselves not to believe anybody. Make sure you press the on button of your belief system and you will never be disappointed.

PRAYER FOCUS
Father deliver me from spirit of unbelief.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Until you choose to believe God, you will never see God doing the impossible in your life.
Nothing triggers failure in vision like unbelief.
