FOCUS
This morning we are looking at why should God prosper you? It is so that He can humble your enemies. God does not do anything without an objective. Everything God does, He has an intention for it. Our God is not a God that is presumptuous in His dealings with man. He doesn’t act because He wants to act, He acts because He already have an objective in His mind.
One of the reasons He blesses you is so that He can humble your enemies, those who have mocked you, who have said it is over with you. God made someone who was once a by world, someone that people have already written off and brings them into a large place. It is my prayer this morning, that God brings us into a large place, a place that is larger than your enemies, larger than poverty.
God bless you, so that He can show case Himself, so that He can humble the enemies that when they are seeing you, they will put a finger of regret in their mouth and wish they had treated you better. This was what happened to Joseph and his brothers. This year, your enemies will bow before you, those who hate you will lick the dust of your feet.
LESSON
Psalms 126:1 When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. 126:2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them. 126:3 The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. 126:4 Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south. 126:5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. 126:6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
Why will God prosper? It is so that you can look like a dreamer. Joseph never knew he would become the prime minister when he had a revelation. This Psalm confirms that there are levels of blessings that looks like you are dreaming. There’s no time a man or woman should Praise , like when you are in prosperity. As soon as God prospers a man, you see that your song will change, your gratitude increases because you have a testimony.
God specializes in beautifying and blessing people. When you see a man that is blessed by God, then you see a man God has increased tremendously. God does not want us to suffer and that is why He has mapped out time for everything. I see this month as our month of prosperity.
Maybe you are reading this devotional this morning and you have been sowing and have never reaped or you have been reaping but not at the proportion of your seed, God ask me to tell you, it is time to reap. Get ready for a bountiful and abundant harvest where the heathen will join you to say, the Lord has done a great thing for you. God is doing great things in this season and beyond and it is my prayer that you and I will partake of those great things. Great things awaits us if only we will use the testimony of our prosperity to glorify God. God wants to humble our enemies by prospering us.

I receive grace to utilize my kingdom prosperity well.

Father deliver me from every spirit of disobedience that will hinder my prosperity.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Obedience brings true prosperity that humbles your enemy.
