TOPIC: FAITH IS A LIVING FORCE
TEXT: James 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

FOCUS
Today, we are looking at faith as a living force. What makes faith a living force is your work. What empowers your faith is what you do with your faith. You are not expected to use your faith for wrong things but when your faith is backed up with right words, righteous works, then your faith becomes a living force, it becomes active, potent and produces.
When your faith is channeled towards the wrong direction, the spiritual law will cut it off. Faith is for living, it is an active force, needs work for it to become a force. Those who will not enforce their faith by their works will not enjoy their faith.
Faith is not what indulge in laziness. Faith makes you to go forth and produce good results. If a man has faith and does not have works, his faith is in vain. We are in a new year, we don’t just need faith this year but you need the faith to be backed up with good works for it to produce. You want to live in affluence, let your faith be backed up with good works. But faith cannot work if you are not His child. Are you a child of God, do you know God? It is until you know God you can claim to have faith.
LESSON
Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
Do you want to be justified? Then faith is what you need. When your faith is active, it becomes a living force then your life will go forward. But when you don’t understand the power of faith, situations will be overwhelming. God expects us to live above powers and stand tall in the midst of challenges. Our faith brings us to a level whereby we begin to see God in everything we do.
God wants us to live beyond the faith of man, we must come to God and live with faith by works. Even though a man is not justified by work by work is needed to boost your faith. Faith is a living force that produces a supernatural lifestyle. The year is just beginning, work on your faith, make your faith potent enough.
Don’t live in the realm of fake faith, work at it. The only sure source of faith is the word of God. So make your faith forceful, study the word. Become a child of God in every way, in your thinking, in your mind. Stay blessed!
