TOPIC: JEREMIAH (CLARITY)
TEXT : Jeremiah 1:11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.
Memory Verse : Habakkuk 2:2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
FOCUS
This morning we are going to look at another man called Jeremiah. This was a man that his strength was clear to him his strength is clarity. The power of Jeremiah was clarity, God wanted to test his sight if what he was saying was correct or note. What was the vision given to him? To root out, to destroy, to pull down, it was clearly spelt out for him. Did Jeremiah obey? Yes he saw clearly.
Every vision has its strength. The strength of the vision is what makes the vision to run that is why the Bible says, write it down, make it plain so that he that reads it can run with it. What is not clear to you, you can’t run with it. Your vision needs to be clear for you to run with it. When you don’t run with it, it means it’s not clear to you. God does not want us to live a life of blurness. If it’s not clear to you, then you can’t run with it. But in the case of Jeremiah, his vision was so clear that God said, you have well seen. God gave Jeremiah an approval for his sight.
Many atimes, God will give you a vision, before you begin to run with it, make sure it’s clear to you. A vision that is not clear to you, you can’t run with it. Running with the vision means the vision is clear and correct, you have to be able to interpret your vision correctly. You can’t interpret your vision wrongly and expect to get the same right result, it doesn’t work like that. See clearly, bring it into pictures, form graphics with it and God bless you .
LESSON
Psalms 34:4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
We are looking at Jeremiah, a visioner who scale through hurdles and how did he scale through? His vision was clear to him. God was telling Jeremiah that this people have hardened their heart but that He will break their heart, he will melt it, do that which they don’t expect and get them to a point whereby they will know me as the Alpha, Omega. God began to use different devices to deal with this people but there was something that shocked me, Jeremiah never lost focus.
Jeremiah was a man of sight, he had his power of sight, he knew that no matter how bad things get, he must maintain clarity in his vision so that he will be able to degree and declare the God that called him. Don’t let the devil fool you, vision is for living. Those who don’t see clearly, don’t run with speed. What gives you speed in life is the clarity of your vision.
You cannot see God and not know Him or not know the direction he is leading you. The reason why God does not reveal himself to many people is because many don’t take time to look for God. God doesn’t want his children to see shame so He expects that His children look for Him. It was in the process of seeking God, Jeremiah caught his vision and no wonder the vision became so clear to him .
Every man that is on the surface of the earth has one fear or the other. It is only God that can deliver us from this fears. Some has fear for height, depth, water, highways, trains, aircrafts, different fears. It is my prayer this morning that we will seek the Lord. When we seek God, God deliver us from our fears. Those who look to God, don’t see their challenges. No wonder God asked Jeremiah, what do you see? He said I saw an almond tree. He said you have well seen, am happy you are not seeing the problem.
Stop looking at the problem, the obstacle, stop looking at the things that has troubled your heart or things that are not working. It is time to look unto God. What you see determines what you pursue, what you pursue determines what the Lord will do in your life. What do you see? Stop seeing problems, challenges, it is time to see that you are going far, you are prospering and this is your portion in Jesus Name. Amen
