Prayer for the day

1. Father, thank you for this awesome privilege to see 1st weekend of the year. I decree joy unspeakable to saturate my life today in Jesus Name. (Lam.3:22-23, Ps.118:24).
2. Father, by the anointing of the Holy Spirit, let the resurrection power manifest itself in my life on this third day. I decree that every grave that have kept me hiding in the previous year be opened today in Jesus Name. (Eze.37:12, Rom.8:11).
3. Father, through the greatness of your Power, let fresh grace be released upon me this new year to always pursue with zeal and passion the things that pertains to You and Your kingdom. I decree that my love for your kingdom shall not wax cold all through this year in Jesus Name. (Ps.69:9, 1Cor.14:12).
4. Father, by the anointing of the Holy Spirit, open the door of this month in my favour as you connect me with people that matters to my life, career and ministry. I shall not lack good men around me this year and beyond in Jesus Name. (Is.45:1, 1Chro.12:21-22).
5. Father, by the blood of everlasting covenant, keep my family and I in absolute peace all through this new year as you give us rest from the roaring of the wicked. No devil is permitted to raise his ugly head against us this year in Jesus Name. (Zech.9:11-12, Job 34:29, Jh.14:27).
