TOPIC: Work triggers Prosperity.

MEMORY VERSE: Ecclesiastes 5:19
[19]Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him the power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.

FOCUS: Genesis 2:3
[3]And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Work is a fundamental aspect of human life and its impact on prosperity is multifaceted.
If the Almighty God worked for six days and rested on the seventh day, then it is expected that everyone who desires rest either in old age or now must work especially once a man is of age to take responsibility.

What does it mean to work? Work refers to:

1. Activities that provide financial support and stability.
2. Efforts that contribute to personal growth and development.
3. Tasks that benefit society, community or others.
4. Creative expression and innovation.
5. Purpose-driven endeavors that bring fulfillment.

The Bible tells us that in every labour there is profit and until you plant intentionally then don’t expect to reap deliberately.
Life is too short to leave it to chance. Sweet comes from sweat and profit comes from labour.

LESSON: John 9:4
[4]I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh when no man can work.

Legal and acceptable work has a great impact on our prosperity and it makes the following positive impacts.

1. Financial stability and security
2. Personal growth and skill development
3. Sense of purpose and fulfilment
4. Social connections and networking
5. Contribution to society and community
6. Structure and routine
7. Opportunities and advancement

You can engage in meaningful work and not be prosperous.
Jesus Christ said He must work the work of him that sent him while it is day; the night cometh when no man can work.

The night here connotes old age, there comes a time in everyone’s life when putting in 12 hours of work at a stretch becomes a challenge, and that is why we must take advantage of our young years (youthful days) to labour.

Life is in phases, don’t play when you are supposed to be working and don’t rest when you are supposed to be working so that you don’t rust.
May God crown our works with multifaceted prosperity.

PERSONAL PRAYER: Father, deliver me from laziness in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: “It is too hard” is never a valid excuse. Work hard, keep a positive attitude and you can accomplish anything
