TOPIC: The Barren Womb.
MEMORY VERSE: Matthew 13:28
[28]He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
FOCUS: Psalms 107:34
[34]A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.
Barrenness has its roots either in disobedience or as a result of curses.
Although physical barrenness can also be medical, many people don’t seek correct medical treatment early and this tends to generate a bigger problem because of the complications that would have set in.
Barrenness must be treated with caution and certain precautions must be taken into consideration to embark on the treatment.
Barrenness can be spiritual, medical or even financial as the case may be. Today we will look at possible ways to handle all forms of barrenness.
LESSON: Deuteronomy 7:14
[14]Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you or your cattle.
God hates barrenness and loves fruitfulness. God’s children can break barrenness by applying the following principles;
- Have faith in God and practice faith principles (Hebrew 11:11)
- Prayer without ceasing (1 Samuel 1:9 to 11)
- Pray in the Holy Ghost (Romans 8: 26)
- Appropriate use of the word of God. (Psalm 19:14)
- Giving to God or sowing into kingdom projects. (Genesis 26:1)
- Submission to God’s timing (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
- Patience(Hebrew 10:36)
Barrenness is not in the plan and program of God for our life and you can overcome it by the grace and mercies of God.
PERSONAL CONFESSION: I have living seeds in my womb, and I can never be barren.
PERSONAL PRAYER: Father, turn my wilderness into a fruitful land in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen
FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Faith can turn a barren womb into a fruitful womb
NOTE: Nothing lives inside a barren womb
