Complete obedience to the word of God is very important if we want to walk in the supernatural. Orthodox obedience is essential in the lifestyle of every believer, Isaiah 1:19-20.

Faith is believing and saying what God’s word says and it is also believing and doing what God’s word says.

LESSON: Exodus 9:8-9
[8]And the LORD said unto Moses and unto Aaron, Take to you handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses sprinkle it toward heaven in the sight of Pharaoh.
[9]And it shall become small dust in all the land of Egypt and shall be a boil breaking forth with blains upon man, and beast, throughout all the land of Egypt.

According to the biblical account, Moses performed miracles because of his faith and obedience to God, who empowered him to do so.
Here are some key factors that enabled Moses to perform miracles;

  1. God’s calling and commission: God chose Moses to lead the Israelites out of slavery and into the Promised Land. With this calling came the authority and power to perform miracles (Exodus 3:10-15).
  2. Faith and trust: Moses trusted God’s promises and obeyed His instructions, even when he was faced with seemingly impossible tasks (Exodus 14:13-14, Numbers 20:12).
  3. Prayer and intercession: Moses prayed fervently, seeking God’s guidance and intervention (Exodus 32:11-14, 33:12-23).
  4. The power of the Holy Spirit: The Bible suggests that the Holy Spirit was upon Moses, enabling him to perform miracles (Numbers 11:17, 25-29).
  5. The Staff of God: Moses’ staff, which represented God’s authority was used as a channel for miracles (Exodus 4:2-5, 17, 20).
  6. Obedience to God’s commands: Moses carefully followed God’s instructions, which often involved specific actions or rituals that unleashed God’s power (Exodus 14:15-22, Numbers 17:1-13).
  7. God’s glory and presence: Moses’ miracles often demonstrated God’s glory and presence, drawing people to worship and trust in Him (Exodus 16:6-12, Leviticus 9:23-24).

Remember, the miracles performed through Moses were ultimately a testament to God’s power and Glory, not Moses’ abilities.

PERSONAL CONFESSION: I am walking in the supernatural and I am a carrier of God’s Grace.

PERSONAL PRAYER: Father, I empty myself today, please fill me up with your spirit in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Until we empty ourselves, God can never fill us up.

NOTE: God uses us when we have emptied ourselves and are ready to be filled with Him.
