HEAVEN’S DAILY BREAD WITH BOLATITO PRAISE

TOPIC: Love for God.

MEMORY VERSE: Psalms 69:9
[9]For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.

FOCUS: Psalms 45:7
[7]Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Paul points out that even natural love, apart from the effect of the Grace of God might impel a man to die for his friend if that friend were a good and righteous man and just as natural love in another form might cause a mother to give her life for her child. Paul then shows that the supernatural divine love of God is seen in the fact that Christ died for sinners who could have had no claim upon any kind of natural love.

The divine love does not depend upon anything for the love to be directed, nor does it wait to be reciprocated before it gives all.
Jesus expressed this divine love in his prayer for those who were crucifying Him.

O Lord, please make me so full of your Holy Spirit just like it happened with Paul so that your supernatural love will flow abundantly into my surroundings and the world at large so that people will come to repentance and experience your incomprehensible, supernatural love. Amen.

LESSON: 1 Kings 19:10
[10]And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.

There are five important things to note about God’s love for humanity.

  1. His love is unconditional
  2. His love is timeless
  3. Nothing can separate us from this gift of His love.
  4. His love makes us better
  5. God enables us to love others.

PERSONAL CONFESSION: I am a kingdom practitioner and therefore, I love people with the love of Christ.

PERSONAL PRAYER: Father, baptise me with your kind of love (agape) afresh in the name of Jesus Christ.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Our God is supernatural and he has no limits.

NOTE: God is calling you, equipping you and preparing you according to his purpose for supernatural living.
