TOPIC: OBEDIENT SPIRIT
TEXT: Isaiah 1:19 “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:”
Memory Verse: Titus 2:9 “Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;”
FOCUS:
Today we are looking at how do we ascend to the hill of signs and wonders? We ascend to the hill of signs and wonders through the spirit of obedience. If you are going to command signs and wonders then you must be obedient to instructions. You must be able to pay keen attention to divine instructions. Everyone that will ascend to the hill of signs and wonders must be an obedient person.
The rebellious does not have a part in signs and wonders. The stubborn; those who are heady; those who follow their mind; those who don’t know the difference between following God’s leading and following man’s leading; they don’t have a portion in signs and wonders.
When God is at work and God is the one doing it, He will always instruct you. He will always tell you what to do and how to do it. So if you are not obedient and God ask you to do a particular thing and you say no, then it means you have forfeited the signs and wonders that is why everyone that must continue in signs and wonders must continue in the spirit of obedience. Isaiah 1:19. What is the good of the Land, the good of the land is signs and wonders. If you are obedient you will continue enjoying signs and wonders all the days of your life. Everytime we disobey God, we have a portion to loose; everytime we obey God, we have a portion to save. So, when you walk in obedience, you are walking in the reality of manifesting signs and wonders but each time you go against God instructions, you are going to loose whatever you feel that you have acquired. That is why the Bible to obey is better than sacrifice and why is it better than sacrifice? Because sacrifice paves way. Obedience boost your sacrifice. When God says do this and you do it, God has respect for you but when God says do this and you say no, then definitely you are going to come down. God bless you because I know you are going to walk in the spirit of obedience.
LESSON:
Ephesians 6:5 “Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;”
Today we are looking at a scripture that’s has to do with the force of obedience; the power of obedience. And it is found in Ephesians 6:5. Servants obey as it pertain to the flesh so you have to obey God in the flesh and also obey God in the spirit. Your obedience is not complete until it is in the flesh and in the spirit with singleness of heart. This singleness of heart has to do with sincerity not double tongue, not guess work, you are not doubting, you are sure; you are obeying and following; you are asking, God what is the next step to do? Where do I go from here? What will you have me do? Until this is done, your obedience is not complete.
You have to obey God like a master not as a father. You know when a servant is obeying the master it is yes and no. Opinion does not count. You don’t feel like to obey or not. Masters are right. So until you have this servant hood mentality when it comes to signs and wonders, you might loose the power that produces signs and wonders. I don’t know how you see obedience but it must be seen from a servant-hood perspective. You must never see yourself like you are a master. If you have a master’s mindset, you will loose in signs and wonders! God bless you as you possess a servant-hood spirit in obedience to God. Amen.
PERSONAL CONFESSION: I receive obedient Spirit from today till the end of my day’s.
PRAYER FOCUS: Father deliver me every disobedience that is currently rulling the world and it’s people in the mighty name of Jesus christ.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Obedience will always trigger signs and wonders in your direction. Obedience will always set the platform for signs and wonders.
Nothing disqualify a man from signs and wonders like the spirit of disobedience.
