TOPIC: POSITIVE SPEAKING / CONFESSION
TEXT : 2 Corinthians 4:13
We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak
Memory Verse : Mark 11:23
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
FOCUS
Today, we are looking at another way God prospers us and it is through positive speaking / confession. There’s congregational and personal confession. How does it work? I believe that everyone has a heaven over them. For example, we have personal and corporate heaven. So, when you are in a corporate place like the church, there’s a general confession. When you are alone, it is also your duty to confess what you want.
You don’t have to speak against your desire, it will make you knock yours out in the spirit realm. Whatever you believe, speak. Whatever your faith can carry, say it. The Bible says; we believe so we speak. So, if you are not speaking then you don’t believe.
A man of God said a quiet mouth is a silent life. Don’t let the enemy win the battle over you; speak and don’t just speak because you have to speak, speak edifying words. Speak to your heaven, to your children, to your life, to your working place, tell God what you want to see, whatever you don’t want to see, don’t say it. Be deliberate in your speaking because it is one avenue God uses in blessing people.
LESSON
Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Any area of your life that you want to be saved, open your mouth and speak. We live in a world of words. When men say there’s a casting down, we will say there’s a lifting up. The word is near in our mouth, speak the word of faith.
God gave the children of Israel a sound instruction that, don’t call a confederacy, a confederacy, don’t speak like someone who has lost hope, speak the truth let the devil be ashamed. Do t get to a point in your life that you don’t have ideal of how God is dealing with you.
Speak life to situations that looks dead, speak life to yourself. God is about to do something new, keep speaking to your life, speak the truth, Don’t get to a point in your life that you begin to doubt god of His dealings. Speak, keep confessing what you want, don’t let the devil determine what to do, you determine it.
PERSONAL CONFESSION
I reject every wrong use of my tongue.

Father deliver me from every use of tongue in the Name of Jesus Christ.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
A wholesome tongue is a tree of life.
