TOPIC: PROSPERITY IS REST
TEXT : Ecclesiastes 10:19
A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things.
Memory Verse: Psalms 118:25 Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
FOCUS
Today, we are looking at prosperity is Rest. I am still defining prosperity in the light of the scripture that when you are prosperous what are the things that comes from it. No earthly father gets angry when his children are doing well. So also, our heavenly father takes delight when you fulfill the scripture that says; I wish above all things we prosper in all ramifications.
Why do we need prosperity, It is for merriment and the propagation of the gospel .
There’s nothing that attends to the needs of men like physical prosperity. You will agree with me that when a man is sure he has what it takes to have something done physically, his mind is at Rest. When you walk into a shop, and you know your credit card has all it takes, and you have the purchasing power, then you are at Peace.
Prosperity is rest. Lack of it is pressure, Everything you need to achieve in this life
to be comfortable to an extent, all it takes is for you to have good money.
Prosperity is not all about physical money alone but physical cash is a must for exchange of goods and services. Prosperity starts from your soul and flows out to the physical. When you are spiritually prosperous, your pocket cannot lack physical money,But when cash is not available and your soul is prosperous, then you are not at risk because it’s a matter of time. Prosperity is all round rest.
LESSON
Hebrews 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. 4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
You have to labour spiritually and physically to enter into true prosperity. There are keys that opens the door of prosperity. Giving, prayer, investment, practicing the covenant is there. In every labour the Bible says there is profit. In as much as you are labouring, there’s a profit awaiting you.
Many wants to pray but are not ready to give. Lord, send prosperity, we don’t want to stay in lack, we are tired of where are. There are many keys to prosperity, you can’t just say you want to enter into your rest but don’t know what to do.
It is my prayer today, that we enter into our rest. Rest is for the people of God, only for his children. Out side Christ, there’s no rest but crisis.
PERSONAL CONFESSION
I receive the rest that comes from prosperity.
PRAYER FOCUS
Father deliver me from hardship in 2023. I reject every fruitless labour in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Until you are prosperous you can never enjoy true rest.
Nothing gives rest like Prosperity.
