TOPIC: Great Grace
MEMORY VERSE: 2 Corinthians 9:8
[8]And God can make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
FOCUS: Zechariah 4:7
[7]Who art thou, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
Great Grace is the maximum glorification of God in time by applying the essence of God to your circumstances. It’s a favor done without expectation of return; a free expression of the loving kindness of God to men finding its only motive in the bounty.
Great Grace means mega Grace, no matter the mountain before Zerubbabel, Grace will always bring it down or make it plain. This grace is free and benevolence of the giver, unearned and unmerited favour.
When Grace is received by faith, it changes us and causes us to love and seek after the righteousness of God.
LESSON: Acts 4:33
[33]And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
Great Grace is for use and not for selfish people, it’s our path to comity, civility and compassion.
Great Grace is a catalyst for the greater good at work, at home and in our communities.
Grace is a clarion call for the goodness in the world around us.
Practical steps to receive Great Grace include:
- Desire it
- Ask for it in Prayers
- Abounding in Thanksgiving
- Be compassionate
- By faith
- Trust Christ for it.
- Witness about it.
By following these practical steps, Great Grace becomes inevitable in our lives.
