Glory be to God in the highest.
Happy New Year to all our Esteemed Readers and a Happy Birthday to “HEAVEN’S DAILY BREAD”. We are six years old today! Indeed, we are blessed by the Lord for inspiration and illumination.
It is my pleasure to welcome everyone to our year of “Overwhelming Grace”. If we must enjoy grace then we have to understand the mystery of grace, a gracious soul is a blessed soul.
Grace will always make the journey sweet and easy but a lack of it will bring pain and undue pressure.
May this year bring more than you can imagine or desire positively in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
TOPIC: The Mystery of Grace.
MEMORY VERSE: Psalms 111:4
[4]He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.
FOCUS: Numbers 6:25
[25]The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
Grace is transformational, you cannot encounter it and not know it, it makes life sweet and easy, it is what makes us who we are, and it helps us to accomplish whatever we have to do and reach our full potential. Grace is multifaceted and that is why it is a mystery, it is full of different expressions as the occasion demands.
Grace works by knowledge and truth.
God supplies grace so that we can accomplish his desires in us because, without this grace, man will never meet up with divine requirements.
Grace is not just for confession but for living, it is transformational, you can’t contact it and not know.
It’s my prayer that in this new year, the LORD will make his face shine upon us and be exceptionally gracious to us all.
LESSON: Exodus 33:19
[19]And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.
Since Grace is such a central and continuous theme throughout the scripture, I want us to pay attention to the study of it and that is why I am starting with it in this new year, when it comes to Grace, God is intentional.
Grace reveals who we are in Christ Jesus, Grace is not a peripheral issue or an afterthought with God, His Grace is the essence of who He is and it is the basis for how He acts on our behalf.
His grace is also the empowering force behind who we become and all we are enabled to do for Him.
God desires that we enjoy his grace in every aspect of our lives and that is why he said in His word that he will be gracious only to those who understand His grace and the same people will He show his mercy.
It is my prayer that in this new year, we will enjoy these virtues of mercy and grace throughout.
PERSONAL CONFESSION: I am gracious and grateful for 2025.
PERSONAL PRAYER: I receive the abundant Grace of God to enjoy the overflowing blessings of God throughout this year and beyond in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
FOOD FOR THOUGHT: God’s grace is the divine invitation to come as we are and experience His unfailing love.
NOTE: God’s grace is not a one-time event, it is a continuous flow of blessings.
