[29]And when ye will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the LORD, offer it at your own will.
FOCUS: Psalms 67:3, 6
[3]Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.
[6]Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.
Thanksgiving is an expression of appreciation to God and man, either for the blessings or the good things in one’s life. Thanksgiving is a time of sober reflection, gratitude and appreciation and it has nothing to do with the size of the blessing or the success level.
Thanksgiving is a booster and a trigger of success in so many ways:
- Improved mental health
- Increased Resilience
- Promotes better relationships
- Increased Productivity
- Positive Mindset
LESSON: 2 Corinthians 9:11
[11]Being enriched in everything to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
Incorporating Thanksgiving into our daily life can be as simple as taking a few minutes each day to reflect on what you’re grateful for.
You can also express gratitude towards one another and it can be through a kind word, a text message, a small gift or an appreciation letter to show gratitude.
Thanksgiving is like a yeast that enhances flour to rise and become edible. Remember that, success is not static and thanksgiving can keep it fresh and relevant therefore not making it obsolete.
Thanksgiving brings bountifulness to all efforts, it makes the earth yield at its maximum level.
Appreciation towards God and man is also vital because it takes care of the past and makes the future fruitful.
When it comes to success, effort and input must be acknowledged and appreciated, especially for those who made you a better person than you were yesterday.
