TOPIC: Economic Prosperity.

MEMORY VERSE: Ecclesiastes 5:19
[19]Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him the power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.

FOCUS: Proverbs 14:23-24
[23]In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.
[24]The crown of the wise is their riches: but the foolishness of fools is folly.

Economic prosperity refers to the state of economic well-being of an individual or a group of people.
These are some of the attributes of Economic Prosperity.

1. Financial stability
2. Wealth creation
3. Successful business or career
4. Financial security
5. Sustainable growth etc.

God expects his children to labour, to create, to birth and to sustain what has been birthed, that shows that we are truly co-creators with God.
Economic prosperity is beyond a wish but it is a desire that must propel you to work and take personal responsibility.

The Bible says the crown of the wise is their riches, meaning the only proof of wisdom is wealth.
Wealth may be inherited but it needs to be sustained before there can be Financial stability. There is a need to create wealth, either through entrepreneurship or you sustaining what was inherited it could be a business or assets.

Prosperity needs hard work coupled with brain work for it to produce more.
In all labour, there is profit and in all idleness, there is gross poverty and lack.

LESSON: Isaiah 3:10
[10]Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

By divine providence, we have a covenant of preservation of our economic prosperity, we know that it is well with us and all that concerns us.
Prosperity is not just about wealth, it is also about living a life that honours God.
When God blessed Abraham, he told him that he would not just be blessed but he would be a blessing.

These are some of the factors that help Economic prosperity:

1. Educational and skills development
2. Innovation and entrepreneurship
3. Investment and Infrastructure
4. Trade and commerce
5. Effective governance and institutions
6. Human capital development
7. Natural resources management
8. Technological advancement
9. Strategic economic and planning
10. Social stability
    With these factors, we are sure that we will enjoy stability and economic prosperity in our lifetime. PERSONAL CONFESSION: I shall eat the fruits of my labour.
