I want to especially welcome us to the tenth month of the year, number ten represents a new beginning, perfection or a divine order. God said to me that this is our month of birthing new experiences that will lead to new songs.
In this month, we shall enjoy divine balance, provision and protection in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Our focus this month is “Prosperity is my Heritage” and in this series, we are going to be defining what Prosperity is and how we can enjoy it maximally.
Prosperity is not a desire but a decision that needs deliberate actions to possess and until God is with a man, no man will remember that fellow.

TOPIC: What is Prosperity? (It is the Presence of God)

MEMORY VERSE: Genesis 39:2
[2]And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man, and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.

FOCUS: 3 John 1:2
[2]Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Biblical prosperity is having our needs met so that we can be a BLESSING TO OTHERS. God has made a way for your needs to be met based on the principle of a seed that is sown.
God’s method for Biblical prosperity requires that we be willing both to GIVE and to RECEIVE. Giving without receiving results in our having less but there has to be an utmost requirement before planting or sewing your seed, it is called the presence of God.

That was what was present in the life of Joseph that made him a prosperous man even in a strange land. Many people think that prosperity is all about working without rest and that’s not it, work has its place but the presence of God gives a man the atmosphere to flourish and have an abundance of all things.

Prosperity is God’s divine idea and will for us, it was never a man-made idea and that is why it is only God that can make someone prosper.
You can’t carry his presence and men will not give you presents.
The prosperity of your soul determines the prosperity of your spirit and body. It is time to ask for his presence, especially in this tenth month of the year.

LESSON: Joshua 1:8
[8]This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

There is no better way to secure the presence of God than through his word.
I believe that in the natural world when you know a person with a particular perfume, anywhere you perceive the perfume, you automatically remember the person so also is it with meditating on God’s word.

As long as we meditate on the word of God, day and night, then the presence of God becomes inevitable and tangible around us.
Nothing dies in his presence, everything lives, including Aaron’s rod that received life in his presence.

God wants us to prosper according to his ways and He wants us to use his methods, only the word of God can lead us right. Many people have tried to get prosperity in their way and all they met was destruction on their paths.
One of the surest ways is to read the word, meditate therein day and night and by doing so, God said He will make our way prosperous and have success.

Prosperity is having contentment in God and the word of God is a weapon that helps us to gather correctly.

May we prosper in this new month and beyond.
God wants us to birth things and one thing we can birth this month is Godly prosperity don’t forget that until you desire it, you may never accept the responsibility of reading and meditating on the word of God that guarantees divine prosperity.

PERSONAL CONFESSION: I am a magnet for prosperity, abundance, wealth, and opulence.

PERSONAL PRAYER: Father, prosper me in this new month beyond my expectations in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Prosperity is a mindset, when you believe in the limitless possibilities of the universe, you open yourself up to receiving prosperity in all areas of your life.
