MEMORY VERSE: Daniel 2:18

Daniel was a prominent figure in the Old Testament who was known for his unwavering faith, courage and wisdom. He was among the young Jewish men that was taken captive by King Nebuchadnezzar and he served in the Royal Court.

There were some key events in Daniel’s life, they include;

1. Daniel chose to be Godly despite all the defilement in Babylon
2. Daniel used his talents to interpret dreams and pursue the right knowledge via books.
3. Daniel’s faith in God stood against the counsel of the king.
4. Daniel pursued his vision and ensured he fulfilled it
5. Daniel stood for his conviction despite the adversary.
   All of these made Daniel stand out among his colleagues and he became a fruitful vine.

LESSON: Daniel 9:2
[2]In the first year of his reign, Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.

Some characteristics made Daniel fruitful and some of them include;

1. Unwavering Faith: Daniel’s trust in God remained unshaken, even in the face of adversity.
2. Courage: Daniel, boldly refused to compromise his beliefs.
3. Wisdom: Daniel’s interpretation of dreams and visions demonstrated God’s wisdom.
4. Integrity: Daniel’s moral character earned him the respect of Kings.
5. Humility: Daniel acknowledged God’s sovereignty
6. Prayerfulness: Daniel’s consistent prayer life connected him with God.
7. Leadership: Daniel’s leadership influenced others, including kings.
8. Obedience: Daniel followed God’s commands.
9. Daniel was a God-fearing man
10. He was a reader, he understood books.

No one would practice the above qualities and not end up fruitful.
Fruitfulness is our heritage we only need to activate it through Godly virtues.

PERSONAL CONFESSION: I am wise like Daniel.

PERSONAL PRAYER: Father, deliver me from a life of mediocrity and foolishness in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen
