TOPIC: A Supernatural Life has the Fruits of the Spirit.

MEMORY VERSE: Titus 3:14
[14]And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they are not unfruitful.

FOCUS: Colossians 1:10
[10]That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

A Supernatural Life is a life that is fruitful and filled with spiritual fruits like Joy, Peace, and Wisdom etc., it is a life that can only be lived by the power of God.

Zeal is the fire of God in your heart, for example, the burning bush of Moses, the one that he saw that was burning but wasn’t burned up. It says also in the book of Hebrews that our God is a consuming fire. Zeal is like the fire of God, a fire for God inside your heart that causes you to burn for His glory and it says in Romans 12:11 “Never be lacking in Zeal but keep your spiritual fervor serving the Lord”.

The zeal for God in you attracts the fruits of the Spirit like meekness, temperance, patience, love, faithfulness etc.

We cannot be fruitful unless we are zealous for God like Moses and Apostle Paul were, that is living in the supernatural, it is a world of signs and wonders on its own.

LESSON: Ephesians 5:9-10
[9](For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
[10]Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

A Holy Spirit-empowered life results in victory over sin. He gives Joy and Peace to such hearts and submission towards the Lord amongst others.

For us to be able to bear fruits that last then we need to live and walk in total dependence on the Holy Spirit.
The fruits of the Spirit are what is displayed in an individual that has the spirit of God.

It’s the effect of the Holy Spirit that conforms us to the Image of Christ, it is His presence within us that enables us to develop spiritual fruit in our lives and without him, we can do nothing (John 15:5, John 15:16).
He has chosen and ordained us, that we should go and bring forth fruits and that our fruit should remain. God’s divine purpose for our lives is to bear fruit.

Abundant fruits are possible for those who have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ (John 15:1-8).
Once we crucify our pride and self-will, we don’t think or care about ourselves, meek people do not measure the importance of events by their relation to their comfort or what they gain from them instead they begin to see everything from God’s perspective seeking only to serve His purpose in every situation of life. Meekness enables us to patiently bear those insults and injuries we receive at the hands of the enemies of the gospel.

PERSONAL CONFESSION: I am a fruitful tree and I bear Godly fruit.

PERSONAL PRAYER: Father, I receive Grace to bear Godly fruit that will affect others positively in Jesus’ name. Amen

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Our behaviour indicates whether we are bearing the fruit of death or life.

NOTE: When the spirit bears fruit in our lives it can affect how others spend their eternity.
