HEAVEN’S DAILY BREAD WITH BOLATITO PRAISE

FRIDAY, MARCH 7TH, 2025.

TOPIC: Christian service requires you to make other disciples.

MEMORY VERSE: Isaiah 8:16
[16]Bind up the testimony and seal the law among my disciples.

FOCUS: Exodus 23:25
[25]And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water, and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

Our Christian service is not complete until we reach out to others and make them disciples of Christ, it involves guiding and mentoring them in their spiritual journey, helping them grow in their faith and relationship with God.
God wants us to serve in various capacities and be a blessing so that he can reward us and increase abundantly.

These are a few steps to make other disciples.

  1. Model Christ-like behaviour
  2. Build relationships
  3. Teach biblical truth
  4. Mentor and guide
  5. Pray and intercede for others
Those are a few ways that we can serve God by making others Disciples in God’s kingdom.

LESSON: Matthew 9:37
[37]Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few.

There is so much to accomplish in God’s kingdom but few labourers and many labourers are already getting tired.
I would like to share a few benefits of making others disciples of Christ.

  1. Spiritual growth
  2. Accountability and encouragement
  3. Multiplication
  4. Personal growth
  5. Joy and fulfillment
These are tips for effective disciple-making:
  6. Be intentional
  7. Be relational
  8. Be patient
  9. Be humble
  10. Be dependent on God
  11. Be sensitive to time
Prayer precedes every effective disciple making and this automatically increases the number of souls that are willing to join the army of the Lord.
Don’t forget that God only rewards servants and not Bosses.

PERSONAL CONFESSION: I am a disciple-maker, not a taskmaster in God’s kingdom.

PERSONAL PRAYER: Father, help me to share what I know that will benefit others in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Being a disciple maker is all about sharing what you know with others to make them a better disciple of God’s kingdom

NOTE: Mentoring is not just about imparting knowledge, but it is about imparting life to others.
