DATE: WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 15TH, 2025.
In this series, I will be looking at how to receive grace. Grace is not common, grace is God’s strength that is given to man to do exploits and it can be found.
It’s crucial to know that grace is available, always dependable and ever reliable, it is all it takes for an ordinary man to become an extraordinary man.
TOPIC: Grace can be found
MEMORY VERSE: Genesis 6:8
[8]But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
FOCUS: Hebrews 4:16
[16]Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Finding the grace of God is a deeply personal and spiritual journey.
Grace can be found, so also it can be lost due to carelessness and ignorance.
Grace can be found through:
- Faith and Belief
- Prayer and Humility
- Reading the Scriptures
- Meditation and Reflection
- Worship and Praise
- Service and obedience
These are all the ways that we can use to find grace in times of need, and grace will always be available.
LESSON: Jeremiah 31:2
[2]Thus saith the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.
If you want to find grace like Noah did in the sight of God and cease from being an ordinary person to become an extraordinary person, the following attributes must be in place:
- Recognise your limitations
- Let go of self-righteousness
- Cultivate gratitude
- Right Association
- Acknowledge the grace of God in the lives of people.
Remember, God’s grace is a gift, and it’s not something to be earned. By surrendering to His love and mercy, you can experience the transformative power of His grace.
It is only grace that can bring a man out of the wilderness and give him rest like he did for Noah in the Bible.
PERSONAL CONFESSION: I am a carrier of God’s grace.
PERSONAL PRAYER: Father, let your grace locate me this week in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen
FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Nothing but grace makes a man so humble and at the same time, so glad
NOTE: Grace is not a reward for faith: Faith is the result of grace.
