HEAVEN’S DAILY BREAD WITH BOLATITO PRAISE

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 8TH, 2025.

In this series, I am going to be sharing with us different types of grace that are available to us in Christ Jesus. The appropriation of this grace will help us to identify our needs and ask for the type we need for actualization.

TOPIC: The Saving Grace

MEMORY VERSE: 1 Timothy 1:15
[15]This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

FOCUS: Ephesians 2:8
[8]For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

The word grace means “unmerited divine assistance” given to humans for their regeneration or sanctification, it is also God’s benevolence to the undeserving”. The saving grace is the grace that saves a person.

By the works of law, no flesh will be justified in His sight so the only way to receive God’s saving grace is through faith in Christ.
At salvation, God makes us new creatures. Before that, we have nothing in ourselves that will commend us to God, we have no saving grace on our own, we are fundamentally unacceptable to God, but by faith, we are to receive the saving grace and confess his lordship over us.
This grace is sovereign, God gives new spiritual life to whomever he will.

LESSON: Ephesians 2:5,8
[5]Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
[8]For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Grace alone means that God loves, forgives and saves us not because of who we are or what we do, but because of the work of Christ.
It’s imperative to follow these steps to seek salvation.

  1. Recognize your sinfulness
  2. Repent of your sins
  3. Believe in Jesus Christ
  4. Confess Jesus as Lord
  5. Receive forgiveness and salvation by faith
  6. Rejoice in his saving grace.

PERSONAL CONFESSION: I am saved by grace.

PERSONAL PRAYER: Father, save me by your grace and save all that concerns me in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: The Grace of God makes us worthy.

NOTE: God’s grace is not only amazing, it is abounding grace.
