TOPIC: GOD is the giver of all Grace.
MEMORY VERSE: Proverbs 3:34
[34]Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly.
FOCUS: James 4:6
[6]But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
God gives grace in various ways. Grace is the nature of God that transforms an ordinary man into an extraordinary person.
It comes with the responsibility of receiving and asking, Grace doesn’t jump on people, Grace is selective, it only goes to where it’s needed and that is why we need to know that God is the giver of all Graces.
The Lord Jesus Christ is Grace personified and the ultimate expression of grace is through the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ.
Jesus’ life, death and resurrection provide salvation and forgiveness of humanity’s sins. God’s grace is received through faith in Jesus Christ. The saving grace is a gift that must be received by faith.
God’s grace is only available to the meek, the humble, the one who recognizes his weakness and understands his limitations that it’s only in God that we are strong, that outside God we are nothing without Him.
God specializes in lifting the humble by giving them unusual testimonies and that is what should be our heart desires this year as we humble ourselves to receive grace from Him daily.
The Bible says in fullness we have received grace for grace.
Grace is needed for all accomplishments this year.
LESSON: Psalms 84:11
[11]For the LORD, God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
Grace is an accomplisher of good things, once it’s received, it brings glory and grants all good expectations.
The book of Psalms made us understand that no good thing will be withheld from those who are humble because it takes a lot of humility to walk upright. The proud in heart will never admit that they are wrong and grace can’t work for them.
Glory is the result of grace, wherever you see grace, glory must be there physically.
Grace brings glory but humility must precede the grace. God gives grace but man must take the responsibility of believing to receive it by faith and claim it in prayers for it to be activated.
