HEAVEN’S DAILY BREAD WITH BOLATITO PRAISE

THURSDAY, AUGUST 8TH, 2024.

In this series, I will be writing on the principles of Supernatural Living. The supernatural is more than a desire, it is a deliberate decision.

TOPIC: Desire

MEMORY VERSE: Proverbs 18:1
[1]Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.

FOCUS: Psalms 27:4
[4]One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

Our desires can shape our thoughts, choices and actions. They can also have a profound impact on our spiritual life especially living in the supernatural.
By understanding and harnessing the power of our desires, we can use them to create positive changes in our lives as long as it is well channeled.

Desire acts as a fuel to make the supernatural a reality, it brings heaven to earth and it makes divinity interfere with humanity.
Desire is very personal, only you can know how badly you want something. Desire can help us muster up the inner energy to move mountains in our effort to achieve our desired results.
Desire gives inspiration and energy.

Developing a desire does not automatically happen, we have to find it, then feed it and care for it.
Desire is like a sickle that can be used to pull down the supernatural.

If there’s no desire then there can’t be a quest for the supernatural.
Desire transforms a natural man into a man who is living in the supernatural.

LESSON: Job 31:35
[35]Oh, that one would hear me! behold, I desire that the Almighty would answer me and that my adversary had written a book.

We must always have a clear desire for what we want to accomplish, if we don’t have a strong desire we will take the first exit that comes along after disappointment.
The proper desire cheers us on and gives us hope.

Desire is an expression of the inmost being of man, it is the onward impulse of an ever-evolving man, it springs from deep within and it has enduring power. Deep desire is essential to spiritual growth.

In essence, God is promising that for those who make him the object of their desire, he will fulfill those desires.
That’s not a tautology or an empty truism, it is one of the most vital truths of scripture, reflected in the broader context of the book of Psalms.
In the pursuit of our dreams and aspirations, two remarkable forces propel us forward, firstly, a strong desire and then a wavering determination
beyond.

Desire is the spark that ignites the fires of ambition within us. It’s the dream that keeps us awake at night, the vision of a better future and the longing for something more. When the desire takes hold, it transforms us into dreamers, believers, and doers, it’s the fuel that sets our journey in motion.
This is what happened to Job in the scriptures, his desires birthed a reformation in him and made him not to give up and the Bible made it clear to us that his latter end was far better than his beginning.
Job is one among many in the Bible who enjoyed the supernatural and made it his habitat because his enemies were dumbfounded just because his desires for restoration were strong.

Living in the supernatural is only achievable when our desires are Godly and coupled with a strong determination never to give up.

PERSONAL CONFESSION: I am a candidate for the supernatural because I desire it.

PERSONAL PRAYER: Father, I desire and want the supernatural to be my daily experience in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Desire births decisions and decisions lead to determination and determination leads to a desired destination.

NOTE: Until you have desired it, you cannot possess it.
