TOPIC: Living in Christ Authority.
MEMORY VERSE: Psalms 98:2
[2]The LORD hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly showed in the sight of the heathen.
FOCUS: Ephesians 3:5
[5]Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
The door to exercising your authority in Christ hinges on Ephesians 1:20 and Ephesians 2:6, the verses that say we are seated with God in Christ in heavenly places. I encourage you to meditate on these scriptures until you fully grasp the revelation that you are seated with him, and you are the one he moves through.
To walk in authority, we first have to walk in commitment. May your heart be fully committed to the Lord to live by his decrees and obey his commands. Amen.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart, your soul and with all your strength and to continue the work of Jesus and to express his will on earth, you must go beyond simply believing to ACTING on the authority you have been given by Jesus.
Authority as characterized in the New Testament and expressed in the ministries of Jesus and his disciples has the ability or power to operate in the supernatural.
Living in the supernatural is living in the authority of Christ.
LESSON: Acts 2:28
[28]Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
When we live by God’s authority, it means he alone is our highest priority. As the creator of all things, God has authority over us and everything in creation. He does not conform to us, but instead, we conform to Him.
The problem is that society and cultures teach our children there is no higher priority than self.
As Elijah demonstrated, divine authority is all about acting prophetically in God’s name. God gives us his authority not just to equip us but to place on us a responsibility.
We all know that speaking a word for God can be risky as it entails going against the status quo.
PERSONAL CONFESSION: All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth, which is why I’m walking in the supernatural.
PERSONAL PRAYER: Father, I receive boldness to operate in Christ’s authority over every negative circumstance of life in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Learn how to use your authority in Christ.
NOTE: Ultimately all authority on earth must serve only the authority of Jesus Christ over humankind.
I don’t think the title of your article matches the content lol. Just kidding, mainly because I had some doubts after reading the article.
