TOPIC: HELMET OF SALVATION AGAINST SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES

TEXT : Ephesians 6:17
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God

Memory Verse : Ephesians 1:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church

FOCUS
Today, we need the helmet of salvation against spiritual wickedness in high places. Until you are safe, the word of God has no meaning to you; an unregenerated mind can never understand the scripture. A mind that is born again can understand the mystery of God’s word. Your access to divine truth is salvation. Without are those who are not saved, within are the christians, those who are washed in the blood. Until this has taken place, the word of God cannot be effective, if you read, it’s like you are reading literature, It will make no sense to you.

Wickedness is real, the whole world is full of habitation of cruelty, except you have the sword of the word of God and what gives you that sword is salvation; until you are saved, you are not safe. Until you are a child if God, the word of God cannot be meaningful to you. The only thing that guarantee you is salvation. If you are not yet born again then forget about having access to the word of God.

Salvation is what makes you to understand the mysteries of the kingdom. When you are born again, you have the grace to interpret the word of God without any controversy on how it works. Salvation is your access to spiritual understanding so that you can combat with wickedness in high places. God is mindful of you but you have to be born again, so that you can quench and silence the wickedness in high places.

LESSON
Isaiah 59:17 For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak.

You can’t put on righteousness when you are not yet saved. To those without, salvation makes no sense to them. Until you are born again, you cannot combat spiritual wickedness.

The people of the world has a way of fighting their battles but I tell you, we have been given a name that is higher than any other name that at the mention of the name every kneel shall bow. Christ in us, the hope of glory. When Christ is not in you, then no glory around you.

Do you want to face the enemy, then make sure your salvation is genuine. If your salvation is not genuine, you will have a lot to battles with. The reason we are still here is because wants us to be his Ambassador on earth. If we are not relevant, he wouldn’t have died for us.

Everyone of us is representing the kingdom and the key to open that kingdom is salvation and once it’s given to us then we will be able to fight spiritual wickedness in high places. Without salvation, man cannot fight the devil
