FOCUS
Today we are looking at another character in the Bible that God gave a vision, how he fulfilled it that today the whole world is blessed through Him. We are looking at Abraham many call him father Abraham because God entered a covenant with him that He will bless him and through him, the whole nations of the earth will be blessed. We are partakers of Abraham blessing.

What exactly did Abraham do? He obeyed God. God was too sure Abraham wasn’t going to disappoint Him. Can God trust you, can He testify that you will not disappoint Him? In the journey of life can God say yes this person will be there even if no one is. God is always looking for one man to reach the nations. Through Abraham, the whole nations shall be blessed; this is a promise. So, how did Abraham follow this vision to ensure he never disappointed God. He simply obeyed God.

Abraham obeyed God that God became so proud of him. No matter your level, one thing that will distinguish you is obedience to God. Obedience cannot be compromised or lowered, you must not reduce your obedience level because of pressure. One of the things that make people compromise their obedience is pressure. Pressure from people, situations, circumstances, the raging storm and all the rest. That is why you should always ask yourself, who will I obey? Life will always present you with opportunities to obey or disobey God. Who will I obey has become part of my life. No matter what is going on, on the outside, who will I obey? I choose to obey God. You can also choose to obey God; no matter what is going on, it’s better to obey God than to obey man.

LESSON
Galatians 3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

Genesis 26:4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; 26:5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

People that are of faith are blessed through Abraham. So, it’s not everybody that is partaker of this covenant of Abraham but those that are in faith. Genesis is a book that has a record of the great men God used mightily. God said to Abraham; I will bless you, make you a blessing, I will make sure the generations after you are blessed through you. God rained blessings on Abraham through the power of obedience. God does not compromise obedience, just like the Bible said; through Abraham the whole world was blessed through obedience and through disobedience, the whole world also came under curse through Adam and Eve.

We have received grace to obey God. Anything that tampers with your obedience, tampers with your blessing. Whatever is making you disobey God, is making you not to fulfil your vision. The power of vision lays in the obedience of the vision terms. God has told you to evangelize the whole world are you obedient to that call? Are you faithful? You must be willing to pay a price for your obedience. God is not a man that he should lie. God has called everyone unto repentance, turn away from your ungodly ways. In our former lust we never obeyed God but now he has called us to obey Him like father Abraham.
