TOPIC: DANIEL (KNOWLEDGE)
TEXT : Daniel 9:2
In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.
Memory Verse : Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
FOCUS
We will be rounding up this series of how to become a royal vessel by talking about strategies for winning Royal battles. every Royalty has a Royal battle, but this battle needs strategies to combat with them. We will look at some Royal vessels in the Bible and how they won their life battles without scars.
Every royal vessel has a royal battle to fight it is the battle that makes you a victor and not a victim. If you are not careful, you may loose your royalty in the place of fighting your battles. You are not fighting from a looser’s perspective but from a winner’s perspective. Daniel was telling us in the scripture that, he Daniel understood by books. Without books, he will have missed divine plan.
God doesn’t want you to get to a point in life whereby you will not have understanding of your prophecy. So what do you do? You make sure you understand by books, go for knowledge. Knowledge delivers, it’s not just something you do partially but something you have to do consciously. Read books, study, show yourself approved unto God. Don’t ever think every battle need s strength. There are some battles that all they need is your knowledge; when you are knowledgeable, you will fight without sword, you will fight and win your battles cheaply. God is interested in our life and He does not want us to fight like fools. Go for knowledge; if Daniel could understand by books, you can understand by book and by knowledge.
LESSON
2 Timothy 4:13
The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments.
We are looking at Daniel, he was a strange land later became a prominent man. He had his battle; one of the battle he fought in the strange land was that, they were commanded not to pray to the name of the Lord and Daniel left his window open and begin to pray. He violated the law of the land but the God of Israel was there for him. He was thrown to the lion’s den and yet he survived, he made the king to be converted, he did his evangelism by knowledgeable prayers.
The Bible says, they that know their God. You have to know God for you to be able to do exploit for God. Daniel was not operating on foolishness platform, he wasn’t just disobeying the law of the land, he was operating based on the law of the God of Israel that was delivered to him before he came to Babylon therefore it was easy for him. There’s another who left Traos and said bring me the parchment that I left. The parchment are your jotings.
Every leader is a reader, you must cultivate reading culture. The world is changing fast and many people now think reading is outdated because we now live in a visual world. We must come to a point whereby we say, God is here, I must know. That is why the Bible says, they that know their God will be strong and do exploit. How much of God do you know, do you even know God at all?
You cannot know the God you have not taken time to study, you must study to know. Lazy christians are the ones that becomes prey in the hands of prophets and those who exploit because they don’t know. Go and get your parchment, get your books, go and ready, study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. The more you know, the more you are blessed!

It is not all battles that needs binding and loosing. Some only needs SIMPLE APPLICATION OF KNOWLEDGE AND THE STORMS WILL BOW.
