TOPIC : SAY IT THE WAY YOU WANT IT
TEXT : Job 26:4 To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee?
Memory Verse: Psalms 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
FOCUS
We are still on our take heed series and we are looking specifically at how to become a royal vessel. How do I become a royal vessel? It is a question that we must answer. You can’t be a royal vessel if you are not cleansed from filthiness and one of the things that contaminates destiny, life is your mouth. That is why the Bible says that, the tongue is a world of iniquity, it can set a whole building on fire. And our body is the buildings of God.
We are God’s building, we are God’s workmanship and that is why we must be careful of the materials we use in building the house of God which is our body. When you speak positively, you live a positive life. When you are constantly speaks negative words, your life can’t be free of negative experiences.
Today, we are talking about mind what you say. This one we are not talking about anybody but mind what you say to yourself. Every word a man speaks carries a spirit. If you constantly speak negative words , you will attract a negative spirit but if your words are positive, you will attract positive spirits .
Who are you uttering words to, who are you speaking to, are you speaking to yourself, God or to satan. Don’t forget that it is what you give attention to that gives attend to you. If all your words are inviting contrary spirits, definitely you can’t be free of negativity.
But if your words are positive, then you are sure your life will turn out well. Keep speaking so that you can become a royal vessel. Leave the problem behind, leave the challenges behind, don’t forget your tongue is a wheel, direct it positively.
LESSON
Romans 4:17 As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations, before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
How do I mind what I say? There’s something God has put in place, I call it a system. From Genesis chapter 1, the Bible says and God said. Everything God said, God saw. As at the point God was telling Abraham I will make you a father of many nations, Abraham was barren. So, what should you say; call those things that be not as thou they were. If Abraham was barren and God had already called him a father of many nations, then why are you not calling yourself a father or mother of nations, why are you not seeing yourself married, why are you not seeing the kind of life you want to live, why are you echoing the voice of the enemy, why are you giving strength to your enemies.
Sometimes we can be overwhelmed with challenges, it’s natural. But scripturally, we are to speak against the storm. You remember when Jesus was faced with the storm, Jesus said; peace be still. He didn’t try to find out, this wind where are you coming from, were you sent, He didn’t bother about all those details. The only thing He did was, He simply rebuked the wind.
Say what you want, mind what you say. Keep declaring what you want, calling those things that be not as thou they were. So, today we are looking at say what you want not even minding; say it, declare it. The Bible says, as you have spoken in my ears so will I do unto you. The Lord has made us royal vessels and so we are in Jesus Name. Amen
