TOPIC: PROSPERITY GLORIFIES GOD

TEXT : 2 Corinthians 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

FOCUS
Today, we are looking at prosperity glorifies God. If prosperity does not glorify God, He wouldn’t have become poor so that we can be rich, He would have just been the only one to exhibit His richness and forget about us. Each time we are prosperous, we are actually glorifying God, lack of it is an insult to God. Just like the way you are happy when you see your child doing well. That is what happens to God.

Each time we are prosperous, we are happy, in a good state, God is happy and proud of us. This was the same way God was proud of Job and told Satan, have you seen my servant Job. God use to brag of His children when they are doing well. When you are not doing well, even your physical biological father will not be happy. When you are not doing well, God is not happy, He is wondering what to do for you.

There’s nothing we can do if we don’t understand this basic things. Each time we are doing well, we are actually glorifying God. embrace covenant principle of prosperity and make God proud, let His name be glorified in your life.

Psalms 102:14 For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.

There’s a building going on, it is a building of prosperity where the devil will be put to shame because the prosperity of the saint will outweigh the prosperity of the heathen. God is going to bring the church to a point of glory where you can be glorified, He will bring all His promises to pass. You have to understand the purpose of God for you to take delivery of what He has in stock. If we don’t take delivery of what He has in stock for us, we will not be able to maximize the blessings of God.

There’s something God wants to do and He wants us to glorify Him. Get ready because there’s something that is coming to you and it is called full prosperity. God makes boost of you when you are prosperous, He wants you to showcase His glory and loving kindness, He wants to let the whole world know that He is the God that rules in the affairs of men. God has already assured us that even in famine, we will laugh, when men say there’s a casting down, we will say there’s a lifting up.

He owns the silver and the gold, there’s nothing we have that does not come from Him and we use them to return the glory back to Him.
