TOPIC: BECAUSE IT IS A COMMANDMENT

Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth.

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
FOCUS
In this series we are going to be looking at some of the reasons why an individual should Prosper. Until Purpose is known Abuse is inevitable. Why should I prosper? It looks simple but if we think deep, we will know that many people have violated the purpose of prosperity.
Everytime you set out on a journey, you must have an objective. So why should I prosper? Because it is a commandment. God commands us to go and prosper. Prosperity is not your idea, it is God’s idea. Many people thinks God doesn’t know they should prosper; He does. He was the one that said I wish above all things that thou prosper and be in health even as their soul prospereth.
So, if God wishes above all that we prosper, why do you think prosperity is man’s idea. When we are talking about prosperity, we are talking about God commanding you to go and prosper. The word “give” from our opening scripture is not an admonition or a counsel, it is not an advice neither is God asking you if it’s convenient. God said give a portion to seven. So, why should I prosper? So that I can have enough to give to seven.
God expects you to give to your parents, both biological and spiritual, the widows, orphans, prisoners, those in the hospital. But how can you give when you don’t have. Prosperity is a commandment !
LESSON
Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Prosperity is a commandment, God is not asking for your opinion. So, if God say give a portion to seven, then you must enmark the people you want to give to and am trying to look at it from the covenant angle, that you have to give to your parents, both physical and spiritual, widows, orphans, prisoners, yourself but how can you achieve all of these this when you don’t have enough.
Prosperity is a must if you are going to enjoy your stay on the earth. The word give in this context is not an advice, God is not asking you. If someone is poor and decides to give in little proportion, it is with that same little proportion you will be given back.
If you don’t consciously give your seed, you have deprived yourself. Many atimes man can be the one doing himself. When you withhold the seed, you have withhold the destiny you are supposed to be a blessing to. God does not want you to live a useless life, He wants you to be a blessing but you can’t be a blessing if you don’t have.
